A Scandinavian Cooperation

We - Henrik Christensen, Denmark and Kari Sjöstrand, Sweden - met and played together for the first time in Norway 2000.

Since 2005 we live in Hälsingland in the northern part of Sweden. After several years as professional musicians in different styles and constellations we feel like "coming home" with this duo. Less is more! To find the great things in this small constellation seems for us as the ultimate thing to do right now.

The music we play is a mix with jazz and folk music. We have some original songs written and arranged especially for us, jazz standards and evergreens that we love, as well as old traditional folk music from our countries.

In the summertime we perform mostly in our home area. During the rest of the year we are touring as much as we can. 2006 the tours went to France, Spain and Italy, 2007 Italy, 2008 to USA, 2009 to Spain and France.
